Happy Valentines Day (ok a few days later but...)

This blog is late but better late than never ... RIGHT

I was at a refreshment class on Valentine's Day so I was not able to spend my daughter's FIRST VALENTINE's DAY with her or even a romantic evening with my husband. So all I expected was a card which would have been fine, I don't need gifts to know how much he loves me [But they are always nice to get :)~] So when I got home on Monday I was SURPRISED with this:


then continued on through the front door to put the baby down and go to the bathroom to find yet more sweet things... And I had a beautiful tulip plant waiting then I finally got to the bathroom that is in the master bedroom .....



So when I finally got to the bedroom I came to the last sweet gift which was a signing balloon....So I did not receive just the card that I expected. I received all of this.

Tierra will soon be a year old

Gosh how the time flies my baby isn't such a baby anymore. We went and had her pictures taken today. She is so adorable. I wouldn't change having her for anything.

BORING LIFE

Although I have a wonderful husband and daughter, my life is quite boring. I do not do much other than sit at home all day with my daughter. And my husband is self employed so works some wierd hours. Other than every other weekend we get David's two boys and sometimes have pool tournaments to go to. IM A HOME BODY, although that can be ok at times but let me tell ya I am having SPRING FEVER right now and can't wait til its warm enough to be OUTSIDE all the time.

Cards, Family and Wii

Well what turned out to be a bummer of a night on Friday turned out pretty good on Saturday afternoon/evening when Brother Bill, Ashley and girls finally arrived for a LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG night of cards and a FEW cocktails. Then it all started over again on Sunday after the wonderful husband I have got up and made breakfast for all the little ones and of course the semi hung over ones, and then the straglers that finaly decided to get up after everything was cooked and almost gone, which led to making yet another batch of pancakes. Got that all taken care of and cleaned up finaly around 11 and the card games began once again almost non-stop til I finaly said IM DONE and HUNGRY so I made some supper and sent everyone on their way around 7pm.

Its always fun to have the company but the MESS and CLEANUP always get forgotten about and left ... So who of course gets to clean it all up. YES of course the STAY AT HOME MOMMY.

Bummed out...

All set for a night of FAMILY TIME with the boys, brother Bill and niece Ashly. Then what happens like almost everytime ya plan something THEY BACK OUT dam it. All ready for a night of Poker, card games and Wii then the phone rings and the message is Well be over tomorrow instead GRRRRRRRRRRRRR oh well now time to relax. Yea right relax right in front of this addiction THE COMPUTER :) Oh well ..... another BORING FRIDAY night

Catching up....

Today was a great and fun day spent with an old time friend from high school. Gosh how time flies. It has been almost 10 years since we have seen eachother... many kids and years later. It was a great day of lunch and jsut time to hang out and catch up on lost time... GREAT DAY ALL AROUND

I think I may be caught up enough for now... I mean allot has happened in between what I have posted but I got allot of OUR FAMILY moments to date. I hope you enjoy

We didn't do a whole lot as we now have a little one and I guess you can say were getting kinda old and for ME anyways drinking just isn't fun anymore. Cause the next day ya just feel like crap....But anyways the Marxen's wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.

This was Tierra's 1st Christmas, she wasnt that into opening presents yet. But im sure next year she will open hers as well as everyone elses. Although she did not open many of her presents without help she loves each and everything she received from all her loving family.

This starts the greatest life of all for me, I was told that I would probably never have children, how devistating to someone who has wanted a baby since I was a teenager. Well I put in god's hands and said "when he wants me to have a baby he will give me that great gift."

Ok so I am a bit SLOW in getting to all this stuff but I guess as it is said, better late than never so I will begin one year LATER.... David and I were married in December of 2007, I was expecting OUR FIRST baby at that time and she was born March 8, 2008. She was welcomed into the family by her 6 (yes 6) older siblings. They love her so much as do David and I.

These photos were taken int the fall of 2008 so we could get some pictures done before Brittany (my niece) graduated and went off to college.
